We’ve been thinking a lot about care. The word. Its meaning. It’s a noun but it’s also a verb. It’s a feeling we have, and it’s something we perform. Caring can be an act of love, but sometimes it can be an obligation. Why do some of us care more than others? What would happen if we were to stop? Care can be costly but without it, everything falls.

Inspired by a series of interviews with people who have a lived experience of family care. Everything Falls is a thought-provoking, contemporary performance that blends choreography, original song and documentary material, taking us into the hearts, minds and homes of family carers and the loved ones they care for.

In this exciting new theatre production two of the most exciting voices in Irish theatre Brokentalkers & Shaun Dunne (This Solution, Rapids) collaborate to present an honest and timely exploration of the role care plays in our lives.
