About

In the last century, global sea levels have risen more than in any century in the last 3,000 years1. This is because of human activities. It is predicted that over 23,000 homes in Dublin will be flooded in the next 100 years2. There is still time to take action on climate change and to protect the planet and our local resources from the worst effects. Over the next few months, Trinity College and Brokentalkers theatre company will work with residents in the Docklands area on a climate change arts project called RISING.

We want to listen to your ideas about how to use creativity and the arts to address climate change as a community. What matters to you and your neighbours in the area? It could be reducing waste, upcycling, having more facilities for planting and gardening in the local area, or something completely different. We’d love to hear it all!
